I had the opportunity to travel to Italy recently and capture a mini session in celebration of my parents’ 35th wedding anniversary! As a wedding photographer, I see so many unique couples each year but nothing is more unique than a couple that stands the test of time. Thirty five years is a big deal, guys!
One of the best parts about my job is being able to connect with some of my couples on social media. I may not always be the best at checking it regularly, as it’s something that I honestly struggle to squeeze into my life but seeing couples that I have had the opportunity to work with buy their first home, start families, and so much more is a huge perk for me and fills my heart with joy. I truly hope each of my couples has the opportunity to celebrate a 35th wedding anniversary, too.
As far as my parents go, whew… photographers always say photographing their kids is hard but parents might be just as challenging! You would never guess these two are senior citizens would ya? Maybe I see them differently than most but they kept having to remind me of their age whenever I would push them a little too hard with our adventures during this trip, but they got up early for our sunrise session and let me walk them around the little town of Cetara where we stayed on the Amalfi Coast to photograph this special occasion!
